In conjunction with 94.5 WKTI-FM and the Rock Star Project, Milwaukee is currently selecting the winner of this local talent search. The Rock Star Project's internal team was able to design and built their own Web site. But they needed a technology partner to host the site and develop a voting mechanism robust enough to handle the huge response that their promotion would produce, so Trivera was chosen as that partner. The online voting began last week to reduce the field from five semi-finalists down the final two. Voting is now in progress to select the winner from those two finalists. Over 70,000 votes were collected in the first round, and the site has received over 3 million hits since it launched last month.
