Computer Prices continue to plummet. So do the prices for extra RAM. And Modems. You’re too busy to have to wait for your computer… remember: it’s supposed to be a tool for increased efficiency.

There’s no need to put up with a slow machine when you can pick up a brand new Pentium II 233 machine (with multimedia and a printer) these days for under $800. And boosting your RAM to 64MB can cost as little as $100. I saw a 56k modem the other day for $60 after rebate.

The only thing that will be more amazing than how much faster everything will run (especially the Internet), is how you put up with old (slow) technology for as long as you did!
