Viva de Mobile! For the “Gotta’ have it now- on - the - go” World.

As the Web becomes more tightly woven into our lives, manufacturers continue to develop new ways for people to easily connect to it. For example, there are Mini-laptops, iPhones, Blackberries, Web-enabled cell phones and other smartphones, which are now the lifeblood for info now - on the go.

To meet the “gotta have it now-on- the- go” need but still reinforce the bond that brands have with customers, many sites now need versions of their Web - specifically designed for mobile devices. These “new” sites are bandwidth friendly. They are formatted to fit smaller displays of most mobile devices. In addition, these “new” sites have pared down content – based upon a combination of market research, evaluating Web traffic and common sense. They're geared to contain only the info that people are typically searching for “on the go”, on their mobile devices.

Using the .mobi extension, mobile versions of Web sites can be hosted at a unique Web address. However, the ideal configuration allows visitors to access the Web site at its primary location, where embedded technology serves up the appropriate version of the Web site for the type of technology viewing it. That means wireless devices display the mobile site, while Web browsers display the primary Web site. And that's what Trivera's solution does.

Trivera knows there will always be mobile visitors who still wish to access main site content not included in the mobile site. Some will have a mobile device like the iPhone, which contains an actual Web browser. So the mobile site presents a link allowing them to visit the primary site.

Trivera customer Mitchell International Airport has launched its mobile site and USA Today has taken note...  You should be, too!
