The Halquist name is legendary in Wisconsin. Halquist has been known for stone for 80 years. So when Jeff Brown took over as new marketing director he knew that his task was to continue to build on that reputation. Having worked with Trivera as marketing director at a previous employer, there was no question who he was going to rely on to translate Halquist's brand to the Web.
The Halquist Web site is rich in design and deep in functionality. The site presents examples and specifications of the hundreds of Halquist products: quarried and manufactured stone directly, and through a nationwide network of distributors. Making sure that people know what Halquist products are available and where to get them is critical to their success. Trivera's site architecture accesses and presents all that information easily, quickly and clearly, and a dealer locator helps potential customers find the distributor in their area. Typical of most Trivera-built sites, Halquist.com contains several of Trivera's powerful administrative tools: Employment opportunities are managed using Trivera's Jobs Module, the Press Room tool gives them the capability to add their latest press releases whenever they wish and Trivera's powerful Site Search allows visitors to find the specific content they came looking for.
Following the success of the Halquist site, Trivera was asked to redesign the site for their sister company: Apache Stone in Phoenix, AZ. Trivera is also creating a new site for Dozer Day, a huge biannual fund-raising event held in one of their stone quarries in Sussex to give adults and kids a close up look at the equipment used to operate a quarry. The new Dozer Day site will launch early in 2009.
