Axiom Properties

Illinois property management firm Axion Properties is involved in the acquisition, rehabilitation, repositioning and management of residential multi-family properties throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. For years, they had been using a hosted, subscription based Web application to manage their administrative functions for their properties, and had internally created  static Web sites for each property. Axiom decided they needed to free themselves from the "Golden Handcuffs" of being obligated to pay monthly for limited functionality. So when they contacted Trivera, we were eager to help them kill two birds with one stone.

Trivera proposed development of a custom-built application that would integrate all of their administrative functionality into one web-based application and also create dynamic Web sites for each of their properties. The Web suite that Trivera built for Axiom allows prospective tenants to submit their applications online, and existing tenants to pay their rent via real time credit card transactions and submit maintenance requests online.

All apartment property information is contained in a huge central database that allows prospective tenants to perform a search for, find and apply for residence to their ideal vacant apartment. That data is also used to create individual Web sites for each property, containing amenities, floor plans and photos.  Back end content management functionality gives Axiom the tools and power to edit all their Web site content.

The solution has provided Axiom with a robust, professional Web presence for the company and each of the properties, as well as total administrative control. Because the only ongoing cost to Axiom is the monthly hosting fee their sites, they were able to free themselves from the bondage to their old solution provider.  And because Trivera relied on an open source software model to create the application, the ROI came quickly, and additonal future functionality is unlimited.
